Introducing the

Price Hipster Shopping Companion

A better way to shop online

Some merchants raise their prices before a "sale". Some products drop in price every second week (there's no rush). Some "deals" aren't as good as they seem. The only way to get on top of all that is to use the official Price Hipster browser extension. With it installed you will have the most advanced shopping tool in Australia right at your fingertips whenever you shop online.

Know if you're getting a good deal

Before you hand over your hard-earned cash you really should know what the price was yesterday, last week and last month. Is the current price the highest it's ever been? Maybe the lowest it's ever been? With the Price Hipster Shopping Companion all that information is right there with you.

Be alerted when your favourite products are on sale

For some products it's worth waiting for that special deal before pulling the trigger. This is where price alerts come in. While on the page of the product just input the dollar amount and you will get an email when the product drops to (or below) that price. Too easy!

Share deals to OzBargain with one click

OzBargain is Australia's favourite deals forum. If you'd like to share your bargain finds with the community simply select "Share -> Post to OzBargain". All the product's information will be pre-filled for you on the OzBargain website. Genius!

See price history charts inline

Sometimes when users submit deals on OzBargain they link to the product's page on Price Hipster so everyone can find the price history. That's great, but you don't want to click the link like a pleb. You want the information presented to you on a velvet pillow. Fear not! The Price Hipster Shopping Companion inserts a price history chart inline whenever it finds a link to a product on pricehipster.com.
